• Led student-run publication twice, first hired to sustain operations through COVID-19, then rehired to revive the paper after the website went down in 2024.
• Revived the print edition of the newspaper in 2025 after a six-year hiatus, generating regional press coverage including KLCC public radio.
• Managed editorial staff-maintained publication schedule, and upheld journalistic standards across print and digital platforms.
• Won two Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association awards under editorial leadership (Best Headline Writing, Best Editorial, 2022).
Freelance Journalist — Eugene Weekly | 2019–2025
• Published 30+ bylined stories across beats including local government, labor, arts and culture, housing, BIPOC community, and cannabis industry coverage.
• Covered the No Kings March in Springfield (March 2025) with photojournalism; navigated ethical publication decisions involving minors.
